Today, we “ran into”
another man that has been involved in Zhenya’s life. I say “ran into” because
nothing about this process is circumstance. Everything is God ordained. From
our meeting with John Eide to us providentially meeting Elvin today, we feel
blessed to be here. Kyiv is a city of 2.6million, and as our tour guide
informed us on Wednesday, balloons to over 5M with tourists and students. To
run into another person in Zhenya’s young life while moving from one sardine
package to another (we were switching metros during 12:00 rush hour!) is
definitely providential.
Elvin is another
missionary that spent time with Zhenya at the Christian camp this summer. He
too was impressed with Zhenya, telling us on several occasions the impact he,
Zhenya, had. It seems we’ve got another person telling us about how happy and
confident Zhenya is!
We know the road ahead has
many bumps and turns, including hairpin turns. We embarked on this journey
following God’s will for us. Along the road, we’ve had prayers answered (what should
we do about Zhenya #1), and we now have had the reassurance from others about
OUR Zhenya. We’re so blessed to have him and thank God for bringing us
together.
God Bless!
